Life has been wonderful.  Having a baby is the best thing in the world.  Landon is so cute and I could stare at him all day.  In fact, I do.  He gave me his first smile last Thursday and continues to shower me and his dad with lots of them everyday.  He is such a joy.

My brother, Tim, and his wife, Jen, had their baby last Thursday.  Jessica Joy Jacobsen--and she is a cutie.  I can't wait to meet her.  Landon and I are coming to Michigan on the 26th!  I can't wait to show him off to everyone.  Phil has a field exercise that week and I thought I was going to be home alone, but it turns out he'll be able to come home.  But, I already bought the plane ticket.  So, we'll be missing him but still having fun in MI.

Well, just wanted to give you a quick update.  Hope everyone is doing well!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

4 weeks and definitely counting...

Well, I guess I'm a little overdue for an update.  My life has pretty much been everything baby the last couple months.  That is all I can think about and dream about and Phil is very excited too, which is super cute to see.  I've got four weeks to go before baby is due, but I would welcome him anytime before that.  My body is ready, and honestly I'm sick of all the aches and how slow-moving I am.  Still, it's the best thing to see his foot or fist make a trail across my belly.

Other than that, soccer season has ended and Phil is done coaching.  He won the "coach of the year" award--I'm so proud of him!  Since then, he's been busy with work and occasionaly helping coach the j.v. basketball team.  We can't wait until the end of July, when his time with the army will end.  I think he's a little more excited about it, but I am definitely anxious to move back to Michigan.  We hope to make one or two trips to MI before he's done so we can show off our son.

Not a whole lot new with us, but that is ok.  Tomorrow we are hoping to start and finish our Christmas shopping, but we will see.  The mall in Fayetteville is insane this time of year and people can be a little crazy.  Oh, I've got another site which I prefer since I don't have to type any updates.  Here it is:  http://www.webshots.com/user/steph783

Everyone take care and have a Merry Christmas!!

The past couple weeks have been great.  I've felt great and I'm getting much bigger.  Here are some pics of the weekend.  Dan came to visit since he is leaving for Iraq in a couple months.  He's getting married next month and we won't be able to make it to the wedding, so this was our last time seeing him until after the deployment.  We'll miss you!
